Next is the inner part.
This part is 6mm in diameter.
First shaping with a 2mm copper rod
BildBild

Roll it so the edges overlap. Then glue the edges together.
BildBild

Then press the disks in and glue.
The rollers are finished with nuts and bolts, ready for paint.
BildBild

Placed on the 1:1 drawing
BildBild

Then I glued it to the tank...maybe not very wise since im sure to break it off when handling the model when the build continues :)
BildBild

Next will be the base and suspension for the roadwheels.
In the meantime..say hello to Franz krupp :) He is the driver of this tank!
Im not very good in figure painting as you might see, but when he is finished painted im sure he will look good enough for me :)

So until next time...stay sharp!!

Hi Johnny,

those small parts take a lot of time, if you want to do it in a good way.
But your work is excellent - as usual!

Cheers

First the drawing

Next to cut the parts roughly...and start the assembly of the main construction

Hello Johnny,

a lot of parts again!
But the scale causes a lot of details, which have to be buildt.
But it looks like, that you have fun with it. :)

Cheers,

Wiwo

Hello my friends!!
Started on the turret...had to do something else than making small parts for the side boxes...
Turret comes with two options, with or without partial interior.
Abd since I love picky work..guess which option I went for?
Of course the interior option. The interior can only be seen through the open hatches, so thats why its limited to just a small part of it.
Summertime is not the best time of the year to make models..but I make some small progress now and then in days with bad weather :)

Drawing of the turret
BildBild

Laserparts :) makes it easy to put together
BildBild

Its a big construction now :)
Also making the boxes along the sides.
BildBild

stay tuned...more to come next week :)

Hi Johnny,

the construction of the turret is extreme! :-o
It's easy to guess which option you choose - its definitly NOT the simple way. :D
Great work!

Cheers
